Updated: Mar 21, 2023

Watch our School Director' video, Falling Walls Lab Winner 2021, Madagascar, representing Ayhay Christian School and sharing the breakthrough during the Falling Walls Lab pitch in Berlin Science summit.

Notoavina Ravel is a Malagasy quality education enthusiast working as a primary school director and a teacher. His country suffers from an inadequate early childhood education system that hinders the child’s holistic development. To break this wall, he works on providing children the joy of learning through a nurturing environment, hands-on local learning materials and a child centered approach. His solution is inspired by the Montessori education which is not common in Madagascar. Ravel is convinced that a powerful human capital is only guaranteed if we invest in the first five years of life.
